New Romance is organized as part of an exhibition exchange scheme between Korea and Australia. The first exchange took place in 2011 when MMCA and MCA organized Tell Me Tell Me together to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Australia. New Romance is the second exchange exhibition, which took place in 2015 at MMCA Seoul. The exhibition delves into the issue of the meaning of humanity through the theme of post-human with works by new media artists from both countries. It will be going to be moved and open again in Sydney next June, 2016.
