국립현대미술관 창동레지던시는 2026년 상반기 입주작가전 《두 개의 영토》를 5월 29일(금)부터 6월 7일(일)까지 10일간 개최한다. 이번 전시에는 창동레지던시 24기 국내작가 3인 무진형제, 이선민, 장종완을 비롯하여 해외작가 3인 사라 세진 장(사라 반 데어 헤이드)(네덜란드), 콘스탄스 텐빅(노르웨이), 사룻 수파수티웻(태국) 총 4개국 6명/팀의 작가가 참여한다.
전시는 서로 다른 영역이 맞닿는 경계에서 생성되는 감각과 관계를 탐색한다. 참여 작가들은 개인적 서사와 집단적 기억, 의례와 이미지, 생태와 기술, 욕망과 불안, 역사와 신화가 중첩되는 지점을 드러내며, 고정된 의미나 정체성 대신 끊임없이 생성되고 이동하는 관계의 구조를 조망한다. 서로 다른 층위가 충돌하고 공존하는 이 전시는 감각과 기억, 이미지와 몸 사이를 가로지르는 동시대적 풍경을 펼쳐 보일 예정이다.

MMCA Residency Changdong presents the first-half 2026 resident artists’ exhibition, Thresholds, from May 29 to June 7, 2026. The exhibition brings together six artists from four countries, including three Korean artists from the 24th cohort of MMCA Residency Changdong—Moojin Brothers, Lee Sunmin, and Jang Jongwan—alongside three international artists: Sara Sejin Chang (Sara van der Heide) (Netherlands), Constance Tenvik (Norway), and Saroot Supasuthivech (Thailand).
The exhibition explores the sensibilities and relations that emerge at the thresholds between distinct realms. The participating artists reveal points where personal narratives and collective memory, ritual and image, ecology and technology, desire and anxiety, history and myth overlap, while examining structures of relation that are continuously formed and transformed rather than fixed meanings or identities. Through the collision and coexistence of different layers, the exhibition presents a contemporary landscape that traverses perception and memory, image and body.
