Agnieszka Roguski, Germany

아그니에슈카 로구스키(1983년생)는 큐레이팅과 연구의 교차점에서 작업한다. 박사 논문 「The Self on Display」(베를린 자유대학교)는 포스트-디지털 환경에서의 자아의 시각적 퍼포먼스에 초점을 맞춘다. Texte zur Kunst, Springerin, Spike Magazine 등 다수의 출판물에 기고한 바 있다. 그는 초학제 콜렉티브 A.R. 프랙티스에서 그래픽디자이너 앤 리히터와 함께 큐레토리얼, 미디어 반영적 프로젝트를 진행하고 있으며, HKW 베를린(2014), 쿤스트페어라인 라이프치히(2015), 오노마토피 프레스(2020)와 협업해왔다. 현재 여러 대학에 출강하고 있으며 샌프란시스코 와티스 현대미술연구소, 베를린 프락세스 현대미술 센터, 라이프치히 왕립예술학교 큐레토리얼 문화과 등에서 일한 경력이 있다. 창동레지던시에서는 한국의 퀴어 퍼포먼스아트와 큐레토리얼 실천의 상관관계를 연구할 예정이다.

Agnieszka Roguski (b. 1983) works at the intersection of curating and research. Her PhD thesis, “The Self on Display” (Freie Universität Berlin), focuses on visual performances of the self under post-digital conditions. Her writing has appeared in Texte zur Kunst, Springerin, and Spike Magazine, among other publications. Under the transdisciplinary collective A.R. practice, she works with graphic designer Ann Richter on curatorial, media-reflective projects in collaboration with HKW Berlin (2014), Kunstverein Leipzig (2015) and ONOMATOPEE press (2020). She teaches at different universities and worked at the WATTIS Institute San Francisco, PRAXES Center of Contemporary Art Berlin and the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig, Department for Cultures of the Curatorial. Her research at MMCA Residency Changdong focuses on the interrelations of queer performance art and curatorial practice in South Korea.
