This painting represents the period of Korean Abstract Expressionism in 1960. It is based on typical monochrome color and circles with several popped out holes in the center which becomes the sun. He emphasized the texture of his paintings. He printed out whole figures on wet painted ground. KIM KU-LIM created the image of dull mineral and death effectively using dark blue color.
