Exhibition Overview

Feel the Art, Play with the Senses

Feel the Art, Play with the Senses is a hands-on sensory exhibition designed for children and families to experience art with their whole bodies. Moving beyond the familiar idea that an art museum is a place to simply look, this exhibition invites visitors to engage all five senses-sight, smell, taste, hearing, and touch-and encounter contemporary art in a freer and more playful way.

The exhibition brings together the artistic worlds and unique sensibilities of three artists - KKEKK, Oum Jeongsoon, and Ham Jin. Visitors can listen to the gentle sound of paper moving in the air, observe shifting shadows, softly hold and embrace tactile artworks, and explore tiny worlds through a magnifying glass.

Rhythmic music flowing through the gallery and subtle scents in the air create a comfortable and immersive environment. With no fixed path, visitors are free to explore at their own pace, discovering hidden scenes and artworks throughout the space.

This exhibition invites visitors to awaken their senses, discover unseen worlds, and connect with contemporary art in a more personal and meaningful way.

#1. Welcome Message Hello, and welcome to the ‹Feel the Art, Play with Senses› exhibition. Today, a very special experience awaits you. Rather than viewing artworks only with your eyes, this exhibition invites you to engage with contemporary art through all five senses—sight, smell, taste, hearing, and touch. In most museums, you often hear phrases such as “Please do not touch,” “Step back,” or “This way, please.” However, these rules do not apply here. There is no fixed route to follow. You are free to explore the exhibition in your own way. This exhibition features three artists: KKEKK, Oum Jeongsoon, and Ham Jin. As you move through the spaces they have created, you may hear the sound of paper moving in the wind, hold and embrace the artworks, or observe a small world through a magnifying glass. You may also experience music and scent throughout the space. By engaging all your senses, we hope you will experience contemporary art in a more approachable and meaningful way.
