MMCA Residency Changdong presents MMCA Residency Changdong Report 2025: Revisited from November 14th (Fri) to November 23rd (Sun). The exhibition features seven artists from four countries, including three Korean artists — Lee Eunu, Juen Jiin, and Choi Sungim — and four international artists: Sofia Albina Novikoff Unger (Denmark), Mari-Leen Kiipli (Estonia), Siim Preiman (Estonia), and Kaja Clara Joo (Austria).
Rather than simply reflecting on the past, the exhibition revisits fading landscapes and traces, transforming them to generate new meanings. Participating artists explore layers of time through the materiality of objects, traces of labor embedded in the body, and the circulation of memory and resources. Each work reveals moments where place, memory, and social structures intersect, evoking vanished time and space. Through these acts of “revisiting,” the exhibition invites viewers to engage with a fresh sensibility in which past and present, the individual and the collective, converge.
