Void is an exhibition that explores the architectural features of MMCA Seoul, which was built around Korea Defense Security Command site. The exhibition interprets and intervenes in a number of voids in the museum - which was designed with a concept of archipelago museum - such as madangs (an empty open space), joongjeongs (an empty outdoor space in between buildings), sunken gardens and corridors. Participating artists and architects connect inside and outside of the buildings with audiences and explain how each of them conceives and interprets the voids beyond as physical spaces.
