The MMCA premieres new works acquired by the museum from 2017 to 2018. This exhibition unveils over 200 works of painting, sculpture, photography, media art, and craft by approximately 70 artists including Hans Haacke, Lee Jung-Seob, and Lee Ungno. Behind-the-scenes stories on the artwork production and collection processes, and acquisition proposals and routes will be shared in the voices of the artists themselves as well as the curators who proposed the acquisitions. The audience will be able to familiarize themselves with the works as they walk through the lush forest of stories behind each piece.
