Celebrating the completion of restoration works of More The Better, the exhibition is aimed at tracing the footprints left behind by Nam June Paik in the Korean contemporary art scene especially after the 1990s by reinterpreting in a "Baroque perspective" the status and presence of More The Better, which is the largest video sculpture of the artist in existence. "Baroque" is a word that best depicts the characteristics of More The Better, which displays a sense of liveliness and awe through the dynamic diagonal composition and colors, and it is also a tool through which Paik builds a highly sophisticated morale. This exhibition will reinterpret the influence of Paik, who has expanded the horizon of the avant-garde potential of Korean contemporary art through《Video time, Video space》(1992), 《Whitney Biennial in Seoul》(1993) through Baroque key words - spectacle, super-connectivity and embodiment. It will also look back on where Paik stands in the history of Korean contemporary art by shedding light on other artists who have stood at the forefront of contemporary Korean art within the influence of such master artist.
