MMCA Open During the 2026 Chuseok Holiday (September 24–27)

The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA) will remain open and offer free admission during the 2026 Chuseok holiday period (September 24–27), as outlined below.

※ Basis: In accordance with Article 2 (Closed Days) of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Exhibition and Admission Regulations (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Directive No. 290), when a Monday falls on a public holiday, the museum will be closed on the first non-holiday following that public holiday.

■ Free Admission Period

MMCA Seoul: Sep. 24 (Thu.), Sep. 26 (Sat.), Sep. 27 (Sun.) / 3 days

MMCA Gwacheon, Deoksugung, and Cheongju: Sep. 24 (Thu.)–Sep. 27 (Sun.) / 4 days
