By subway

Exit 2 of City Hall Station (Line 1)

It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to walk or use a wheelchair from City Hall Station to the art museum.

There is an elevator that connects the basement of City Hall Station to the ground floor.

1. Exit from Exit 2 of City Hall Station and walk 105m. You will find Deoksugung Daehanmun on the right.
2. The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) Deoksugung is located within Deoksugung. Please purchase a ticket to Deoksugung at the ticket booth in front of Daehanmun Gate. (Admission fee: 1,000 won)
3. Enter through the main gate of Deoksugung (Daehanmun) and walk 25m forward to arrive at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) Deoksugung.
4. Climb the Deoksugung Stairs (23 steps) to reach the entrance to the second-floor exhibition hall. The stairs are steep, so please use caution when ascending.
