The program presents internationally famous artists who work with a single channel video piece to show an intriguing art world within the modern art category. It also introduces the works of two upcoming Thailand artists and several Korean artists whom continuously attempts to open a discussion toward the local history through images and sounds scattered around the landscape. Since the moment when a camera captures the space, the film contains its own innate time and space. The movement in the motion pictures transforms the act of capturing the frames in a different method from other motionless photographs or paintings. This transformed binding force, makes audience to embrace the reality in the cinema as a surreal reality. Either the reality that we recognize comes from the true reality or from a manipulated imagination or a concept, the reality in a film contains 'something' that is can’t be proved.
Furthermore, in a customarily inferred narration, this 'thing' is usually left breathless. Passing through the and the image itself, there are certain films that capture these 'breathing things' that can’t be classified. These films capture a certain light that shines through the crack between the unresolved times, or shows this light dimly disappear into the void. Such motion pictures are a collection of shadows casting over the underling history of a specific region, or a record on the phenomenon appears on the surface, or even a recombined space created by an open discussion of a narrator and the audience. Some might even find undefined secret stories that linger around just like a ghost. These rather incomprehensible and edgy films will remain as a part of a record on <Scintillation or Disappearance>
