Notice

Group visit booking is temporarily suspended to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 and to protect your health (We will notice you when group visit reopens.)

Under the current social distancing guidelines, capital areas where MMCA Seoul, Gwacheon, and Deoksugung are situated in does not allow a gathering in group of more than 10 people, and the rest of country where MMCA Cheongju is situated in does not allow a gathering in group of more than 12 people.
For an advanced booking, only 2 tickets can be booked per single user ID.

Group size and admission
  • Allowable number of visitors: A group of 10 or more requires an advanced booking (each group shall not exceed 250. MMCA Cheongju allows a visitor group up to 30.)
  • Admission: Free for student group & teacher (Student ID card must be presented), 20% OFF for adult group
Booking process
  • 1Before booking
    • 신Read all notices carefully (particular attention must be paid to visiting date, visitor size, parking and meals)
    • Booking must be made at least 7 days prior to your visit (maximum 90 days in advance).
  • 2Booking
    • Group booking > Approval review > Confirmation text message & e-mail
    • Group visit hours: hourly from opening (10:00)
  • 3After booking
    • Confirmation: “My Page” > Check your group visit booking”
    • The Museum Etiquette Pledge (see below to download) should be signed and pre-visiting instructions should be given to students.

      ※ The signed Museum Etiquette Pledge must be submitted on the day of visit.

  • Reconfirmation

    Reconfirm your booking status at the reception desk.

  • Museum Etiquette Pledge

    Submit the signed copy of the Museum Etiquette Pledge.

  • Ticketing

    A group ticket will be issued to each group’s teacher only.

  • Admittance

    Visitors enter the museum by group.
    ※Each student group must be guided by a teacher.

Pre-visit checkpoints
  • At least 1 teacher should be assigned to every 30 students.
  • Without an advance booking, no group visit will be admitted.
  • Any independent docent is subject to prior approval of the museum official.
  • No bus operation is allowed inside of the museum complex (only 5 minutes by walk from the bus parking)
