Assistance for the Visually Impaired

  • Guide dog accompaniment
    • The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) welcomes guide dogs.
  • Braille and Audio Guide Signs
    • Braille and audio guides are located to the right of the museum entrance.
    • The museum's location and directions are provided in Braille and audio. The signage features a raised button indicating your current location, and a voice button is located in the lower right corner.
    • There are Braille signage at the entrance to the restrooms on every floor.
  • Tactile Guidance Blocks
    • There are tactile paving blocks at all entrances, stairs, elevators, and restrooms in the museum.
  • Elevator for people with limited mobility
    • You can use the elevator to move from the 1st to the 5th floor of the exhibition hall.
  • Ramp
    • There is a ramp connecting the Cheongju City Tourist Center at the entrance to the main entrance of the museum.
    • There are tactile blocks on the ramp.
  • Disabled toilet
    • There are restrooms across from the elevators on every floor of the museum.
    • The disabled restroom is equipped with an automatic door, handrails to assist movement inside, and an assistance bell.
